Teen Arrested After Shots Fired In Atlantic City, Four Others Violated Curfew: Police

A Millville teen was arrested after shots were fired in Atlantic City's north end, authorities said.

The 15-year-old boy was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of an extended magazine, and possession of hollow-point ammunition, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Friday, Oct. 4.

Officers responded to shots fired near the intersection of New Jersey and Arctic avenues at around 11:51 p.m. on Sunday, Sept 29. Police learned about potential suspects running away from the area who all appeared to be teens.

Five boys were then arrested on the first block of South New Jersey Avenue. The 15-year-old was found with a loaded gun.

Four other Millville teens were cited for curfew violations and released to their parents or guardians. The 15-year-old was held at the Morris County Detention Facility.
